SUBJECT: This is a full leather binding with blind tooling decoration on the covers and spine. This binding is an undated Latin music manuscript. It features sewn on endbands with alum tawed supports(?) that were originally laced into the cover. There are leather and brass clasps; the upper clasp is mostly intact while the lower clasp is missing the brass fastener. It is sewn on three cords. The primary support is thick parchment. It is of varying qualities and colors. The media is black and red ink; there are handwritten inscriptions on the upper parchment pastedown and flyleaf.
